16 gauge high tensile wire makes it possible to build subdivision fences quickly at low cost. It will take over ten years of abuse with minimal maintenance. The end and corner posts do not need to be braced because this wire acts like a lightweight rubber band. Since less weight is suspended, less tension is required. Light ⅜" - 1½" fiberglass rod posts can be used for the majority of the line posts. Wood post or T-post should be used at ends and corners. This wire is more of a psychological barrier rather than a physical and needs electrified. Coils fit a standard spinning jenny, which may also be used to rewind the wire. If rewinding, use the largest diameter on your jenny.
