KSI 12½ Gauge ZA Wire
The corrosion resistance properties of ZA
(
Zinc/Aluminum) wire are known to be
approximately 4 times that of comparably
coated galvanized wire. The ZA wire sold by
Kencove has the same coating weight as our
class 3 galvanized (.80oz/square foot) and is
drawn after coating to give a smooth surface.
This wire will turn a darker shade of gray than
our other wires.

KSI 12½ Gauge High-Tensile Wire
is the highest quality. This electro-galvanized
wire has extra high strength and resiliency
with a uniform zinc coating. It can be wrapped
tightly around its own diameter without
breaking and dispenses with less chance of
tangles, if you use a spinning jenny. Class 3
galvanized coating resists rust up to three
times longer than traditional farm store wire.
Min. break strength = 1617 lbs
Wire Shorts (code ending with FT) are sold at a discount
price per foot. These odd length wire coils are the same
high quality, but the length is whatever is left over at the
end of our winding process. Give us an acceptable footage
range and we will do our best to match your requirement.
We DO NOT sell shorts under 500’. The exact length will
only be known after the order is accepted.
