Poplar board is ideal if you want a rustic-wood fence look. It is easy to install and repair. Life expectancy is not as long as other fence types such as wire or Horserail. Using an offset electric wire to prevent cribbing may extend the life. These boards are ACQ-treated but can be painted for an attractive perimeter fence.
