PasturePro Posts are made of a composite material which is non-conductive and self-insulating. They drive like a t-post and drill like wood. The PasturePro Post is formed by a patented process to withstand extreme weather and temperatures and allows the post to flex on impact. The wire is attached to the post with a cotter pin through a drilled hole. Posts do not come pre-drilled; we recommend drilling at the time of installation. This will give a better overall finished product and allow for hole spacing options where you have changes in terrain. Unlike fiberglass, wood-plastic composite material does not splinter. The material has no fiberglass, no PVC and no hazardous materials - which makes them ideal for use with horses or organic operations. Made in USA. Solid composite fence post - not hollow, no caps needed.
