Spider Footed Post 50"
A Spider footed post is used where there is upward pull on the fence. It is a fiberglass rod with metal prongs on the end. The prongs should be bent to a 45 degree angle and driven into the ground using a Nylon Drive Cap. Drive the post 12" below the desired height and then pull the post up out of the ground to the proper height. This will allow the pre-bent wires to mushroom out and secure into the ground. Double Wedge Clips are used as the insulators on these rods. 50" x 10mm (almost 3⁄8" diameter).
