These 6-rail, 50" high tube gates are hot-dip galvanized after fabrication. The vertical tubes are sealed with plastic plugs that prevent mud and water from freezing inside and also stop bees and wasps from nesting. Tube gates are made 4" - 6" shorter than the listed size to allow for hinges and latch. Lighter than our 2" gates, but still stronger than most!
