Tornado Woven Wire, 9/49"/12", 12½ Ga

The Titan fixed knot in Tornado 949-12 Cattle, Goat & Sheep Fence helps create a highly visible barrier, with solid vertical wires for increased net strength. The 12” distance between the vertical stay wires makes this specification an economical alternative to 6” or 9” spacings. It also helps to prevent sheep and goats from getting their heads stuck between the vertical wires, causing costly damage to animals or their ear tags. This fence provides an additional line wire and an extra 7” in height to the 842-12 specification, making it an ideal solution where a taller net is required. Tornado Titan Cattle, Goat & Sheep Fence is manufactured with high tensile wire which strains tighter than mild steel and so requires fewer intermediate posts, making it quicker to erect. It does not stretch with weathering so does not need to be retightened annually.

This field fence has an overall net height of 49”, but a less dense net with 12” spacing between vertical wires. While still perfectly adequate for cattle, the wider gaps make this a more economical fence that is for areas where there will be less pressure on the net. Shorter line wire spacing at the bottom of the net helps to prevent other animals from passing through.
